tom tom tom tom tom

I am the WORST FRIEND EVER. Ask anyone. I TO-tally planned to post for Tom's birthday tomorrow.... when it was in fact, yesterday. BOO, Jamie. Boo.

Anyway, a lot of people don't know the extent of mine and Tom's relationship. Not that it's a big secret or anything, it's just we don't have a lot of common people in our everyday lives, and we don't see each other very often, but I talk to Tom pretty much every single day, and I would be leaving out a big part of my life if I didn't tell you how important he was to me. Seriously, seriously important, and one of the few people that "got me" from the very beginning. Most people have to know me to love me. (If then.) But Tom.... from the moment we were introduced, we just CLICKED. He's a soulmate. A kindred spirit. A true friend and a valuable, pertinent puzzle piece of my psyche. I love you Tom!!!!!!!

Love you more, Jamie!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... You know I never celebrate my birthday anyway. (although this year, I am apparently throwing the party of the year. Who knew I had it in me?) I just liked giving you hell.

All jokes aside, you are so far from the worst friend ever. You are THE BEST. And for all those reading... Jamie is my compass. My TV guru. And she's made me a better writer because of it, whether she knows it or not. Plus, she provides me endless material. :-) Sadly, every show I've worked on already has a character named Jamie (both male and female). But my next gig? You can be sure I'm naming a character Jamie Hawkins. And oh, will she be TV brilliance...

Thanks for the shout-out, Jamie! You were born to be my baby, and baby, I was ma-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ade to be your man!

Yeah, happy birthday, Tom. But that's so yesterday...today is Sandy's birthday, and after posting pics for the boy and the girl and Uncle Al, I really hope you're not going to diss the woman who made us all what we are today.
And Tom's post brings up a question...did he call you a compass because you always point north? Or because you spin around (after drinking)? Or because you're pointy at both ends? Just wondering.

Tom, if you name a character Jamie Hawkins, I'll watch! :)

I didn't forget about Auntie Sandy, but she doesn't really read the blog (to the best of my knowledge), plus, can you believe I don't have a picture of us since Christmas, 2002? It's the year she gave me Carole King's Tapestry. Mighta been 2003. Anyway, I was planning on calling her later. And if I remember correctly, my card and present were EARLY. That counts for something, right?
