Really, J.K.? Since it didn't seem to play into the plot of a collective 7 books-- an whopping 4,195 pages of emotion-packed story-- who cares?

Hey J,
I'll just do a drive-by since I'm catching up on 2 months of posts. 1. In answer to your question in this post, and as someone who only watches the Potter movies (ok, make that only watches movies)... not me. 2. I've not seen Big Shots, but Entourage is already the guy's version of S&TC. 3. At the risk of blogmiliation, what is *weg*? Cheers to you, Scotticus
Can I tell you? Not only who cares, but I put on NPR for the first time in the car in months, and All Things Considered gives me the promo for this lead, and Justin, 7, asks, "What does that mean, Dumbledore is gay?" I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to explain that kind of stuff for a few more years, ya know?
I deflected it because then they began talking about the fires out west and I was worried about my brother-in-law.
OK. I'll be the dissenting voice. I care. The story is over, sure, but as a fan, I am still up for any information she wants to share about the characters I have grown to love. This particular piece of info casts all KINDS of new light on the character of Dumbledore. Re-reading the books knowing this will add a sense of newness to the material as I read.
